The Heritage Museum’s latest exhibition highlights our town’s rich sporting history and some of the personalities that have excelled in a variety of sports over the years, and continue up to today.

The museum will be open between 10am and 1pm every Thursday and Saturday until 27th June. As usual, admission is free.

Burton Latimer Heritage Society – AGM

7.30pm, the Civic Centre, High Street, Burton Latimer

The election of officers and trustees of the society will take place at this evening’s AGM – and members are also invited to speak on any aspect of the running of the society.

After the business part of the meeting Nick Smith will give a talk about his life in the Northamptonshire Constabulary – entitled ‘My Days in Blue’. Refreshments will be available, and there will be a raffle.

Stalls selling fruit and vegetables, local farm meat, free range eggs…and more. The Friends of St Mary’s Church will have a stall selling tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cakes – together with books and CDs. If you have unwanted books or CDs in saleable condition, you can donate them at the market.
