Burton Latimer Allotments Association

We are part of The National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners, and have a 10-year lease on a 4.5 acre site at the end of Jacques Road (off Higham Road). There are currently over 70 gardeners tending plots of various sizes – and there is a waiting list of 10 persons. A committee oversees the running of the site, and our AGM is held on the last Thursday in March.

Burton Latimer Twinning Association

Burton Latimer Twinning Association was formed in 1985. Formal twinning links with the German village of Altendiez were completed in 1987, and with the Italian town of Castelnuovo Magra in 2002. The Association organises trips to the two twin towns from time to time, and arranges hospitality for our German and Italian friends who visit Burton Latimer.
