Keep up to date with news of what’s going on in the town

For the second year running the Hollow Wood Road street lighting has been a great success. Nearly all 28 homes were decorated at the owners’ expense.
Hundreds of visitors came to see them and made a donation. Having last year raised £5,000 to buy two defibrillators for the town, this year nearly £12,000 has been raised for Cransley Hospice, Nanna, the local food bank and for the medical needs of two local children.
Parking was made available at Bosworth’s Garden Centre, and the road featured on Radio Northampton, BBC Look East and ITV.
The Baptist Church thanks all those who came along to sing carols outside Sainsbury’s in December. Special thanks to Gretton Silver Band who accompanied. Almost £150 was raised for Spurgeons Childcare.
