Burton Latimer Allotments AssociationActively promoting organic gardening |

| Meetings | We are part of The National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners, and have a 10-year lease on a 4.5 acre site at the end of Jacques Rd (near the new Doctors` Surgery). There are currently 67 gardeners tending plots of various sizes - and there is a waiting list of 17 persons. A committee oversees the running of the site, and our AGM is held on the last Thursday in April. |

Burton Latimer Needlecraft Group (BLING) |

| Meetings | BLING meets at the Civic Centre on the first and third Thursday of the month, from 7pm - 10pm. The aim of the group is to get together for a natter whilst crafting and to share skills and learn new ones. Trips to shows and day classes will be arranged depending on the group’s interests. Beginners and experienced crafters are welcome. There is no joining fee, and the sessions cost £2 per time - including tea / coffee. | |

| Meetings | We meet for a meal at Wellingborough Golf Club on Tuesdays, and use our various skills to help the local community. Recent projects in local schools include awards for Young Chef, Young Writer, Young Musician, Young Photographer, and Youth Speaks (public speaking). We also raise funds for local churches and organisations, and take disadvantaged children to Wicksteed Park every year. We have some excellent social events - and would welcome new members. | |
