Peter Bettles
I have lived in Burton Latimer for 12 years and was elected to the Town Council in a by-election in 2005.
My main interests are being involved with local residents, walking, local history, local national theatre productions, classical music - and I am a fanatical brass band enthusiast.
I became a councillor to do my best to enhance Burton Latimer to become a better place to live, and to listen to residents to help achieve this.
At the Town Council AGM in May 2008 I was elected to the role of Deputy Mayor. I am honoured and proud to hold this position, and I will endeavour to use it with dignity in the interests of the people of Burton Latimer.
