Andy Walpole
I am married, and have lived in Burton Latimer for 20 years. I grew up in Barton Seagrave, so I am very much a local person - and my wife was born and raised in Burton Latimer. Our two children go to the local St Mary's Primary School, and are involved in the local youth groups.
Along with other volunteers, I am involved with the town's Pocket Park - helping to keep the area tidy and to cut the grass. I am particularly interested in planning and development issues for the town, and how to develop local sporting facilities for young people and families.
Outside of council work I am a keen motorsport follower, and a Leeds United football supporter - and my son plays for Burton Park Wanderers Football Club.
